The Differences are:
The very subtle, yet important differences that exist between Coaches and other professionals can be summed up as follows:
Remember, a Coach is not there to psycho-analyse anyone.
Teaching :- is the transfer of knowledge.
Therapy :- is dealing with problems from the past to improve the future.
Consulting :- is the transfer of professional knowledge, expertise or experience.
Coaching :- is establishing with the client what is their reality today. Then clearly defining what are the client's aims or intentions for the future. The Coach works with the client to produce a plan of action that the client can follow with confidence.
When you see coaching and when you hear coaching you will recognise exactly what it is.
It is the single most powerful, most methodical system ever devised for releasing individual human potential.
